Who we are

Synaptic (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a two-person AI automation and web studio based in Laval, Quebec, Canada. This policy explains what personal information we collect through our website and services, why, and what your rights are. If you have any questions, email us at contact@synapticstudio.io.

What we collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, or that's needed to run the site. That includes:

• Contact details you submit through our contact form, booking calendar, or by email, such as your name, business name, email address and phone number.
• What you tell us about your business and what you'd like help with, so we can prepare for your call and build your plan.
• Booking information when you schedule a call (the time you pick, and any details you add).
• Basic technical data your browser sends automatically when you visit, such as your approximate location, device and browser type, and how you found us. This helps us keep the site working and understand what's useful.

We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18, and the site isn't directed at children.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and set up and run your free audit call.
• To prepare and present a plan and pricing for your business.
• To deliver and support the services you hire us for.
• To send you occasional useful tips or updates, only if you've opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
• To keep the website secure, working and improving.

We rely on your consent (which you give when you contact us or opt in), and on our legitimate interest in running and improving our business, as the basis for using your information.

The tools we use

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to run our business. These providers process some of your information on our behalf, under their own privacy and security terms:

• GoHighLevel, our CRM and booking platform, which stores your contact details, enquiry and appointment information.
• Cloudflare and Vercel, which host and deliver this website and route our email.
• Google (for our email and video calls) when you book a call with us.

We only share your information with these providers as needed to run the service. We never sell your personal information to anyone.

How long we keep it

We keep your information only as long as we need it: to answer your enquiry, deliver our services, and meet our legal or accounting obligations. If you'd like us to delete your information, just ask and we will, unless we're required to keep some of it.

How we protect it

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your information, and we keep access limited to the two of us and the trusted providers above. No system is ever 100% secure, but we treat your data the way we'd want ours treated.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct or update it.
• Ask us to delete it.
• Withdraw your consent or unsubscribe from marketing at any time.

To exercise any of these, email contact@synapticstudio.io and we'll take care of it. If you're in Quebec or elsewhere in Canada and you're not satisfied with how we've handled your information, you can also contact the relevant privacy regulator.

If we update this policy, we'll change the date at the top. Significant changes will be posted here.
