1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of the Synaptic website (the “site”) at synapticstudio.io. Synaptic is a two-person AI automation and web studio based in Laval, Quebec, Canada. By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site.

2. The website and its content

The content on this site, our text, designs, code, graphics and branding, belongs to Synaptic and is provided for your general information. You're welcome to view and share it, but please don't copy, resell or pass it off as your own.

We work hard to keep the information accurate and up to date, but we provide the site “as is” and can't guarantee it's always complete, current or error-free. Prices shown are honest starting points and may change; the exact scope and price for any work are always confirmed in a written proposal first.

3. The free audit call

Booking a free audit call places you under no obligation. It's a conversation to understand your business and see if we're a good fit. Any plan or pricing we share afterwards is a proposal, not a contract, until we both agree to it in writing.

4. Working together

If you hire us, the specific terms of that project, what we'll build, the timeline, the price, payment terms and ownership, are set out in the proposal or agreement we sign together. Those project terms take priority over anything general on this page. As a rule:

• You own the work we deliver to you, outright, once it's paid for. No lock-in.
• We'll tell you straight if we're not the right fit for a project.
• We host and maintain what we build for you when that's part of the agreement.

5. Your responsibilities

When you use the site or work with us, you agree to give accurate information, to use everything lawfully, and not to attempt to disrupt, hack or misuse the site or our services.

6. Third-party links and tools

The site may link to third-party websites or use third-party tools (such as our booking calendar). We're not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties; their own terms and privacy policies apply.

7. Liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, Synaptic isn't liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site or its content. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that can't legally be limited. Our responsibilities for any paid work are governed by the agreement we sign for that work.

8. Privacy

How we handle your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always the one posted here, with the date at the top. Your continued use of the site means you accept the updated terms.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada. Any disputes will be handled by the courts of Quebec.
